Spirit Days : Wednesday, January 8: White Out Day - wear white, no hats Wednesday, January 22: Brandon Blue - Swim and Dive Thursday, January 30: Brandon Blue - Competitive Cheer 7th Grade Parents: 7th grade parents, with the start of the New Year, it's not too late to sign your 7th grader up for our Washington DC trip for next year. Currently, we have less than 30 spots available for our trip. Scholarships are becoming available as the New Year begins. There are two easy ways to sign up: 1. Go online to www.worldstrides.com/signup and use trip number 182910 Signup 2. Call 1-800 468-5899 and again use trip number 182910 If you have any questions, please contact our Program Director, Steve Hendershott at shendershott@brandon.k12.mi.us or 248-627-1830 ext 1349 MS Basketball: 7th and 8th grade Boys Basketball tryouts begin on Monday Jan 6th, 3-5pm. Tryouts will take place on Jan 6th, 7th, and 8th. Starting on Thursday Jan 9th, the 8th grade team will practice 3-5pm and the 7th grade team will practice 4-6pm. In order to attend and participate in tryouts, players must have a current physical and athletic contract on file in the athletic office. MS Swim & Dive: 6th, 7th and 8th grade Co-Ed Swim practices also begin on Monday Jan 6th, 3-4:45pm at the High School Pool. Students can walk over to the high school and enter at the Aquatics door #6, by the locker rooms. In order to participate in practices, swimmers must have a current physical and athletic contract on file in the athletic office. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the athletic office, 248-627-1827 Math Support: Math support is being offered 4 days per week by middle school math teachers. This program will focus on the mastery of math skills utilizing differentiated instruction for each student. Attend as many classes as you would like each week (i.e. Monday & Thursday, or just Wednesday, etc). This is an amazing opportunity. You can register directly from the attached flyer.
