BMS News & Notes
August 21st, 2020

Hello and welcome back!! All of us at BMS are excited and we cannot wait for school to start. You will see several communications from BMS in the next couple of weeks. We haven't sent any information out because we are still finalizing our plans.

Thank you so much to our entire community for being so understanding and patient during our time of planning. We are so grateful for our amazing community. Now, here are a few brief updates:

Back To School Registration:  This year’s walk in Registration Day will all be done virtually this year.

Pictures – Picture day will be September 23rd during the day. school. Students will receive their id badges the following week.

Class Schedules – Can be accessed online through the student and parent portals soon.  If you need your name and password, please contact Brandon High School at 248-627-1866

Parent Webinar: I will hold a Parent Webinar Thursday, September 3rd from 6:00-7:00 P.M. I will send a link out to register next week.

Block Schedule:  Brandon Middle School will be implementing a block schedule for our students for both face to face instruction and for those that are participating in the Brandon Learn From Home Program.  Students will attend hours 2-4 on the first day of school, and then hours 5-7 on the second day of school for approximately an hour and fifty-five minutes each class.  These days will continue to rotate all school year. No Seminar for this year.

BMS Calendar: On Monday morning you will see our new calendar for the year. The dates in red are tentative.

Registration Forms:  Regardless of whether or not you are a new student to Brandon High School, or someone that has been here their whole lives, we are asking that ALL families please update and complete the Online Back to School Registration forms.  See the attached letter for more information and directions.

Once again, I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. These are unique times to say the least and unique times need unique solutions. More information will be out soon. Thank you everyone and we will see you soon!!

GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!
