News & Notes from BMS for October 2nd, 2020
Yearbook Information: Yearbooks are available to purchase for $37 + tax. The price increases as the year progresses. Jostens also offers interest-free payments spread across three months. BMS Yearbooks will include both in-person and learn from home students. Students and families will have the opportunity to submit photos this year for consideration in the yearbook. This year looks and feels very different, but we definitely want to celebrate our middle school students' school year in a positive way! Read more information here. Mask Breaks: Please remind your student that cell phones are supposed to be in their lockers until lunchtime. We are having many of our students use their phones during mask breaks. Mask breaks are still considered class time. Parent Teacher Conferences: Parent Teacher Conferences are on October 13th and 14th from 4:00 – 7:00 and will be done this year virtually. Please see your student’s teacher’s Google Classroom sites late next week to sign up for a time to meet with them Spirit Week: This week is Spirit Week at Brandon High School. Please dress up according to the following themes: Monday – Pajama Day Tuesday – Hat Day Wednesday – Sports Teams Day Thursday – Class Color Day 6th Grade Green 7th Grade Black 8th Grade Yellow Friday – Brandon Blue Day This week’s schedule: Monday – “B” Day (Hours 5-7) Tuesday – “A” Day (Hours 2-4) Wednesday - “B” Day (Hours 5-7) Thursday – “A” Day (Hours 2-4) Friday – “B” Day (Hours 5-7) Have a great weekend and GO BLACKHAWKS!!
