Spirit Day: Thursday, October 29:  U of M/MSU Spirit Day - NO HATS

BMS Halloween Costume Rules: We are allowing costumes with the following guidelines:
  • Absolutely no look-a-like weapons of any kind! Per the Department of Education Safe School Guidelines and our Student Handbook (no exceptions).
  • No fake blood or gory/violent looking costumes.
  • No wild hair dye.
  • Do not bring extra make-up with to school. This makes too much of a mess in the hallways and bathrooms.
  • Costumes must adhere to the school dress code
  • Students must still wear the proper face-coverings.

Halloween Guidance: Please read the attached flyer for some information on how to have a safe and happy Halloween.

Food Service: The United States Department of Agricultural (USDA) has made the announcement they are extending FREE meals through the June 2021. This will allow school nutrition programs to continue to feed children through the pandemic. ALL children 18 years of age and younger (including young siblings) will be provided breakfast and lunch at no cost to families. Brandon Learn from Home or Summit Virtual families can pick up food every week by filling out the pre order form that is on the district website or the link below.
