Help make our community suicide-safer. Objectives for this virtual training include reviewing facts about mental health and suicide, learning warning signs of suicide, and sharing basic techniques to have conversations about suicide. Participants will also receive a list Oakland County mental health resources. Please read the attached flyer for more details.

Enrichment Classes:
Safe Home Alone/Babysitter safety is being offered both in-person and virtually.  This class is great for our students who may be at home part of the day by themselves and for all students who babysit younger siblings or family friends.  Students will be certified in CPR & first aid when they complete the course and will have their babysitter certification.  This is for anyone age 9 and older.

Challenge Island is a STEAM program for grades K-8 that has been popular with our students when they met in-person.  Super Star Island will focus on 8 "superstars" including Leonardo da Vinci, The Beatles, Walt Disney, and more.  Virtual classes are being offered for Grades K-5 and Grades 6-8

Student At-Home Screening Checklist: Please read the attached document below from The Oakland County Health Department. They have updated their screening procedures. Please take some time to read the attached flyer.

Food Service: The United States Department of Agricultural (USDA) has made the announcement they are extending FREE meals through the June 2021. This will allow school nutrition programs to continue to feed children through the pandemic. ALL children 18 years of age and younger (including young siblings) will be provided breakfast and lunch at no cost to families. Brandon Learn from Home or Summit Virtual families can pick up food every week by filling out the pre order form that is on the district website or the link below.
