One Million Pages: Once again the entire Brandon School District is participating in our One Million Pages Summer Reading Challenge. This was a complete success last summer and we hope to once again reach our district goal of reading one million pages. Please use the following link to record your pages. Good luck and happy reading. http://www.brandonschooldistrict.org/reading-challenge/

Summer Office Hours: Our new summer office hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mondays – Fridays.

Registration: BMS registration day is Monday, August 28th from 8:30-11:30 and from 12:30-2:30. This is also our picture day. If you completed the online registration process your student’s schedule will be available. Registration can be done using the parent portal. We will also have computers available here to complete the process as well.   Please read the following attachment from HR Imaging regarding school pictures.

Cell Phone Policy Update: We have updated our cell phone policy here at BMS. Students must put their phones in their lockers upon arrival at school. They can check their phones in between classes. Phones must be either put on silent mode or turned off as not to disturb the educational environment. Phones are not allowed into the classrooms unless specific teacher approval was given. Students can use their cell phones at lunch in a responsible manner.

Supply List: Below is a suggested supply list for your student here at BMS. This is only a suggested list. After registration, please contact your student’s individual teachers if you have any questions about classroom supplies.

Yearbooks:  If you would like to order a yearbook online here is the link:  jostensyearbooks.com.  There is also an order form that you can bring with you on registration day attached below. Please make all checks payable to Brandon Middle School.

Drop Off & Pick Up: All 8th graders will use the north entrance and all 6th graders will use the south entrance. 7th grade students who have their 1st hour class upstairs will use the north end and 7th graders with their 1st hour class downstairs will use the south end. Students can enter the building at 7:00 AM.
