News and Notes for Brandon High School for the week of April 8, 2019
Testing This Week: Please see the attached letter that goes in depth about this week’s testing for 9th – 11th grade students. Please make sure that all students bring with them a calculator, pictured ID, and multiple #2 pencils. End of Marking Period #3: This Friday marks the end of the 3rd Marking Period. Please check parent portal to make sure that your student is all caught up with each of their classes. Report cards will be coming home next Thursday, April 18th. Drivers Training: courtesy Driving School is offering special classes and rates for this summer. See the attached flyer for details. Congratulations This Week: Congrats this week to Synthia Yang who won the “Breaking Traditions Award” through the Michigan Department of Education. Also, congratulations to the BHS Truck Town Thunder Robotics Team who qualified for States which will be held this weekend. Upcoming Dates to Place on Your Calendar Now: April 9th – SAT / PSAT Testing for Grades 9-11 (No School for Seniors) April 10th – Work Keys Testing for all Juniors April 12th – End of 3rd Marking Period April 16th – MSTEP Testing for all Juniors April 18th – Report Cards Sent Home April 19th – No School Have a Great Week and Go Blackhawks!
