News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of December 9, 2019
ACE Program: Did you know that your student could earn an Associate Degree while still in high school, gaining both college credit and high school credit simultaneously. Please see the Oakland Ace Program flyer that is attached, and then contact your student’s counselor if you are interested. Winter Concert and Santa: On Thursday, December 12th the Brandon High School Band will be performing its annual Holiday Concert. Santa Claus will be making a special appearance for all kids that would like to come and let him know what they would like for Christmas. See the attached flyer for more details. Charity Week Fundraiser: Please join us on December 11th anytime from 4:00 – 8:00 for dinner at Bull Frogs in Ortonville. 10% of your dinner bill will be donated to our Charity Week fundraiser to provide cleaner water to the Great Lakes. Please bring in the attached coupon when you come. Seniors FAFSA: All students planning on attending college next year should sign up through the FAFSA website. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial aid and grant money go unused every year just simply because students do not sign up. Please click on the FAFSA WEBSITE, or see your counselor if you need help with this process.
