Brandon High School News and Notes for the Week of July 20, 2020

Work Permits:  If your student is in need of a work permit, please fill out the attached form and then scan and send it to Mr. Stevens (dstevens@brandon.k12.mi.us).  Once he receives it, he will send it back to you within 48 hours.  Please note that there is one form for students 16 and under, and another for students 17 and over.

Fall Sports:  As of right now the MHSAA has approved Fall sports to carry on for the upcoming school year.  Tryouts for all sports will be the week of August 10th.  Make sure that you have a physical on file before the first day of tryouts.  These physicals must be updated yearly.  For more information contact Athletic Director Chris Deines at Cdeines@brandon.k12.mi.us

Brandon Learn From Home Option:  Brandon Learn from Home option is now open for enrollment to all students for the 2020/2021 school year! Brandon Learn from Home is a remote learning option now available through the Brandon School District that creates a connection between children JK-12, their parents, teachers and the school through a shared partnership online learning experience. All Brandon Learn from Home courses are taught by Brandon teachers and the curriculum is identical to the curriculum at all levels within the Brandon School District. Working in conjunction with the counseling department, Brandon Learn from Home can create a schedule that works best for each student depending on course availability including full-time learn from home options, hybrid options, and vendor course options through VHS and Summit Virtual. Speak with your counselor about all available options and visit www.BrandonLearnFromHome.com for more information and to register!
