Parents and Community Members:

Parent / Teacher Conferences:  Please join us for Parent / Teacher Conferences this Wednesday, March 23rd from 5:00 - 8:00 at Brandon High School.

Juniors:  Did you know that the upcoming SAT test results will be one of the major factors colleges and universities use as part of the admissions process.   Brandon High School is offering free SAT preparation every Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 – 3:30 in the Media Center.  Every Junior student is highly encouraged to attend these sessions.  See Mrs. McDonald or Ms. Smith for more information.

Juniors:  We will be doing pre-gridding for the upcoming SAT test and Work Keys on Monday March 28th.  Please make sure that you are in school, and on time this day.

College Fair:  Please see the attached flyer for a college fair that will be taking place Monday, March 21st at Lake Orion High School.  All high school students are encouraged to attend.

Dual Enrollment:  We are excited to present a new dual enrollment program that we will be offering our students for next school year where you can simultaneously earn high school and college credit.  Please join us this Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:00 for more information.  See the attached flyer.

No School:  Just a reminder that there is no school for all students this Thursday and Friday (March 24-25).  Have a great long weekend!

Dress Code:  With the weather heating up, please make sure that your student is following the BHS Dress Code.  Any student in violation of this code will have to call home to get new clothes.  We thank you for your help in this matter.

Football Players:  If you are interested in Football next year, both at BMS and BHS, or perhaps Brandon Youth Football and would simply like to meet our new Brandon Coaching Staff, please take the time to join us Tuesday, March 29th, 7:00pm, in the BHS PAC/Theatre. Highlights will include:

- Meeting our new Football Coaching Staff
- Discussion on Philosophy and Expectations
- Off-Season Calendar
- In-Season Calendar discussions
- Development of the “Brandon Backers” Parent Group
- Open Q&A session
- many more new and exciting initiatives

The Brandon Athletic Department and the Brandon Football staff look forward to your attendance.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Athletic Director Don Watchowski, dwatchowski@brandon.k12.mi.us, 248-627-1833 or Head Football Coach Brad Zube, bradzube@comcast.net.  Go Blackhawks!
