Vision Testing:  Vision testing will take place this week for all 9th grade students that are face-to-face by the Oakland County Health Department.  If you would like to opt your student out of this test please let Principal Dan Stevens know in writing.  He can be contacted at dstevens@brandon.k12.mi.us

OSTC Students:  The Oakland County Technical Campus is opening back up for our students to come back in person on November 2nd.  However, the Brandon High School schedule does not currently align to their schedule.  Please look for a separate email later this week that will address this issue.  In the meantime, please make sure that your students are attending these classes virtually.  Thank you for your patience as we maneuver through this process.

College Visits:  Brandon High School has partnered with many colleges and universities to do virtual college visits for our junior and senior students.  Please see the attached flyer, or click on brandonschooldistrict.org/collegevisits for more information.  If you have any questions about these visits, contact Mrs. Williamson in the Counseling Office.

NCAA Eligibility:  Do you have a son or daughter that is thinking about playing college athletics?  There is a ton of information that you should know so that they are eligible to play.  See the attached Eligibility Center document for more information and to sign up for a Webinar that will be held on November 7th.

9th Grade Students:  Wayne State University is conducting a study that is open to all 9th grade students to be a part of.  You could earn over $200 just for volunteering to be a part of this study.  Click on the attached flyer for more details.

Struggling Students:  Do you have a student that is struggling academically, disorganized, or just needs a little more motivation to stay on top of things in school.  Please contact our Academic Coordinator, Derek Mohamedally as he may be able to help.  Mr. Mohamedally specializes in working with low performing students to help them be successful.  He can be reached at dmohamedally@brandon.k12.mi.us
