News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of May 9, 2016 Parents and Community Members: Graduation Tickets: The amount of extra tickets your senior was able to secure was told to them during lunches on Monday. Due to limited seating we were not able to grant every student’s total requests for tickets. If you have questions, or want to know the amount of tickets your family was able to secure, please contact Principal Dan Stevens at dstevens@brandon.k12.mi.us. Honors Convocation: Honors Convocation for seniors is Tuesday, May 10th starting at 6:30 pm in the high school Performing Arts Center. Our gracious community and school will be giving out numerous scholarships, awards, honors and recognitions. We hope to see you there! Thank You: I want to give a BIG "Thank You" to all parents, community members and businesses that provided food for our Teacher Feast last week as part of Teacher Appreciation Week. Our teachers ate like kings and queens! Your support is amazing! Yearbooks: Yearbooks will be distributed this Thursday, May 12th to all students that ordered them. See Mrs. Elkins for questions or more details. PROM: Prom is this Friday, May 13th at Boulder Point Country Club in Oxford. Please help this to be a safe and exciting night for all of our students. Please help in making sure that your student is appropriately dressed for this evening. If they are unsure if their clothing (especially dresses) will not meet the dress code, have them see Mr. Tucker. The last thing we want to do it to send students home from their PROM for inappropriate dress. Athletics: Have you been to a game, match or event yet this Spring? Please consider coming and showing your support for the Brandon Athletics. Click HERE for the schedule of this week’s events or go to http://brandonblackhawks.org/ Golf Outing: Please consider signing up for the Harvey Fletcher Memorial Golf Outing which will be held on June 25th.
