News and Notes From Brandon High School for the Week of January 18, 2016 Parents and Community Members: Seniors: Tickets for the Senior All Night Party go on sale starting February 2, 2016 in the cafeteria during all lunches. The cost is $35.00. Please sign up early so that we can ensure this event. If you have any questions please call Monica Genslak at Brandon High School. See the attached flyer for more details. Yearbook: Friday, February 5th is the last day you can pre-order and be guaranteed a yearbook at the end of the year. This is also the last chance to have your student’s yearbook personalized with their name and icons. If you have any questions, please contact Jen Elkins at bhsyearbook@brandon.k12.mi.us. The link to order your yearbook: http://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A03858700 Athletics: It is a busy week on the athletic schedule. Consider coming out to a game, match, meet or competition. See the attached schedule for more information. Wintry Weather: Please take into consideration weather conditions when dropping off, or having your student drive themselves into school in the mornings. Make sure to give yourself extra time and leave early so that they still arrive to Brandon High School by 7:20. Final Exams: Final exams are next week! Please make sure that your student is studying now and not waiting until the last minute to cram for all 6 of their exams. These exams will be worth up to 20% of their overall semester grade. Education Exploration Night: Please mark February 24th on your calendar now for our 3rd annual Education Exploration Night from 4:00 – 8:00 at Brandon High School. This night will also feature the Chamber of Commerce’s Business Expo. Two great events in one place! There will be more information forthcoming. Have a fantastic rest of your week and GO BLACKHAWKS!
