| News and Notes for Brandon High School for the Week of October 30, 2017 If you already received this, I apologize. We had a technical glitch that is now fixed. Sophomores: On Thursday, November 12th the Oakland Technical Campus will be meeting with all sophomores to discuss their offerings for next school year. Currently, BHS has over 100 students attending these amazing programs. See the Counseling Department or click on the link for more details. After School Tutoring: Does you student need a quiet place to do their homework after school with teachers and students that can help them? Starting this week in room #207 and #213 we will have this available every Tuesday and Thursday. Please urge your students to take advantage of this opportunity. End of the Marking Period: This Friday is the official end of the first marking period. Please check the Parent Portal to check your student’s progress. Official report cards will be sent home Friday, November 10th. Winter Sports: Winter sports begin the week of November 6th. Does your student athlete have a physical on file so that they can begin play? For more information contact our Athletic Department at 248-627-1827.
