Dear Brandon School District Families,

As we begin the fourth quarter of this school year, we now transition to finalizing plans for the upcoming school year. In a previous communication, we shared that we will transition back to the start and end times across the district prior to the pandemic and restore the six-hour day at the secondary level. As we continue our planning process, we are asking families that are requesting a virtual option for the 2021-2022 school year to complete the form below.

To help guide families in making this decision, we want to let you know the following additional information:

  • At this time, we anticipate the CDC guideline of mandatory mask-wearing next fall will continue to be in place for all students JK-12
  • We will implement the recent CDC guidance of at least 3 ft. when distancing students in classrooms
  • Families will have the option to change platforms at the end of the 1st semester

It is important to note that the bullet points mentioned above may change should we receive any additional guidance from CDC, MDHHS, or Oakland County Health Department.

Please submit the form below by Sunday, May 23, 2021. Families that do not complete this will automatically default to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year.

We will be discussing our virtual options in a parent forum on Tuesday, April 27th, with an elementary presentation at 5:30 pm and a secondary presentation at 6:30 pm.
