  • Common Ground Resource and Crisis Center
    Common Ground is a crisis services agency that helps connect the ones in mental health crisis to the care they need. They are open 24/7 at their Resource and Emergency Center located at 1200 N Telegraph Bldg. 32E.   • SEHS Counseling Center
    SEHS is a free counseling/therapy service at Oakland University. These are Master level students training to become state licensed counselors. They are supervised by fully licensed professionals and professors. If you are interested in free therapy services, or are in need of free therapy services. This may be a beneficial option for you.   • The Jason Foundation
    The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) is dedicated to the awareness and prevention of youth and young adult suicide by providing educational programs and resources that empower students, parents, educators, and the community to be better able to recognize and assist at-risk individuals.   • Suicide Prevention Parent Toolkit 
    This toolkit PDF was created by a collaboration of many different mental health organizations throughout Oakland County. It provides a quick informational lesson on suicide in youth. Lesson examples include, warning signs to look out for, how to effectively communicate with a child who is suicidal, and resources on where to take a child if further or immediate attention is needed.
